  9.     Pardon the lateness, but as I mentioned before John
  10. Linn left in March and it's taking some time to regroup and
  11. find where various things are (though John did do an excellent
  12. job of organizing stuff and letting us know the state of the
  13. world before he left).  I've enclosed some c routines for DES and
  14. DES key schedule construction.  ZIHHIf you want the faster MC68K
  15. versions I could provide them too.  I also understand that the
  16. next BSD release will contain code that is much faster than the
  17. current "crypt" and the code contains elements of the speedups which
  18. are present in these routines.  Let me know if you have any problems
  19. with this code and how well it performs for your application.

  21.     I will ask the PTF members to review your NTP authentication
  22. paper during our next meeting, so I can get back to you with
  23. comments by the beginning of June (if I don't get to it myself
  24. prior to then).
